Since graduating in Microbiology, I have acquired over 16 years of experience in Quality Control field. I have been managing the Quality Control and Quality Assurance department at Santé Naturelle A.G. Ltd for over 6 years.

Since the passage of the new Canadian regulations for Natural Health Products (approaching the pharmaceutical standards) in January 2004, Santé Naturelle A.G. Ltd has satisfied all regulatory criteria and obtained its Site Licence, therefore all our products are manufactured and packaged in a compliant Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility.

As a pharmacologist, I have studied the way active ingredients from remedies act on the body to efficiently exert their therapeutic action. I have specialized in the scientific study of natural health products because they actually show great promise as future medicines and would benefit from thorough scientific investigation. My background allows me to understand how natural health products act inside the body and select the best natural alternative for a specific health condition. Being involved in the Research and Development of new products, I always select ingredients that are supported by rigorous clinical research.

I am a consultant and chief scientific advisor at Santé Naturelle A.G. Ltd. I am responsible for Regulatory Affairs and assisting in development and marketing of new products. I have 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field, being involved in development and manufacturing of Natural Health Products (NHP). I also was involved in the beginning of the process of the actual Regulation, being associated with the NHPD by representing the CNPA (Canadian Natural Product Association) at the ILC (Industrial Liaison Committee) table of Natural Health Products Directorate (NHPD).

Since the beginning of my collaboration with Santé Naturelle A.G. Ltd as a scientific advisor, I have been involved in the development of several new NHP products within their line. Some of them have been developed in collaboration with research projects with several Quebec Universities mainly McGill with our Echinacea product line and Sherbrooke with our HEP-40 cholesterol management product. Those were issued with extensive research project.
